Terms of Service

Last updated: June 2026

These terms govern your use of Method. Please read them carefully. We've written them in plain language wherever possible.

Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Method (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time — continued use after changes are posted constitutes acceptance.

Use of the Service

Method is an AI-powered study tool for personal, non-commercial academic use. You may not use the Service to generate content intended to deceive, circumvent academic integrity policies, or for any unlawful purpose. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

Intellectual Property

The Method name, logo, software, and all associated intellectual property are owned by Method AI and protected by applicable laws. Content you upload or create through the Service remains yours. By uploading content, you grant Method a limited licence to process it for the sole purpose of providing the requested features.

Account Registration

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for safeguarding your password and for any activity under your account. Notify us immediately at methodstudy.app@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorised access. We may terminate accounts that violate these terms or that we believe pose a security risk.

Subscriptions and Billing

Free tier access is provided at no charge subject to usage limits. Pro subscriptions are billed monthly or annually as selected. You may cancel at any time from account settings — access continues until the end of the current billing period. We reserve the right to change pricing with reasonable notice.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the AI-generated content is accurate, complete, or suitable for any specific academic purpose. You should verify all material against authoritative sources.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Method AI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation first, and if unresolved, in the courts of competent jurisdiction.
